GIVĒON (ギヴィオン)
米カリフォルニア州ロングビーチ出身、新世代R&Bシンガー。2019年、シングル「Like I Want You」でメジャーデビュー。翌年の2020年にデビューEP『Take Time』をリリース。同年ドレイクの「Chicago Freestyle」のフィーチャリングに大抜擢され、ほぼ無名ながらその美しい歌声に注目が集まり一躍話題のシンガーに。そして2021年、デビューEPに収録の「Heartbreak Anniversary」がTikTokのダンス・チャレンジとしてバズヒットを記録、第63回グラミー賞では『Take Time』が最優秀R&Bアルバムに初ノミネートを果たした。また、ジャスティン・ビーバーの大ヒット曲「Peaches」のフィーチャリングに参加し、同曲は全米シングル・チャート１位を獲得。第64回グラミー賞では「Peaches」が主要含む4部門でノミネートを果たし、授賞式ではパフォーマンス出演も果たしている。自身の作品では、2021年3月にこれまでのEP収録曲に新曲を加えた「When It’s All Said And Done…Take Time」を、そして2022年にデビュー・フルアルバムとなる『Give Or Take』をリリースした。
