グラミー賞ノミネートを誇るワンリパブリック（OneRepublic）は、シンガーソングライターでリード・ボーカルのライアン・テダー、ギタリストのザック・フィルキンスとドリュー・ブラウン、キーボードのブライアン・ウィレット、ベーシスト兼チェリストのブレント・クツレ、そしてドラマーのエディ・フィッシャーによって構成されるバンド。デビュー以来、ワンリパブリックはSpotifyだけで50億回以上のストリーミング再生を記録。2007年にリリースされたデビュー・アルバム「ドリーミング・アウト・ラウド」には、2,000万セールス超、世界中でデジタルセールスとエアプレイ記録を塗り替えた大ヒット・シングル「アポロジャイズ」が収録され、この楽曲により彼らはグラミー賞にノミネートされる。2009年の2作目のアルバム「ウェイキング・アップ」からは、「オール・ライト・ムーヴズ」、「シークレット」、「グッド・ライフ」といった大ヒット曲が誕生。その後2013年にリリースされたプラチナ認定アルバム「ネイティヴ」には、No.1ヒットとなり4,100万セールス以上を誇るシングル「カウンティング・スターズ」が収録されている。
2016年には4作目のアルバム「オー・マイ・マイ」、2021年には5作目のアルバム「ヒューマン」をリリース。
2022年には、映画『トップガン マーヴェリック』で使用された大ヒット曲「アイ・エイント・ウォーリード」を発表し、30億回以上のストリーミング再生を記録した。2024年4月には、デヴィッド・ゲッタとのコラボレーション曲「アイ・ドント・ワナ・ウェイト」をリリースし、公開からすでに世界で1億3,000万回以上の再生回数を記録。
また、人気漫画原作のアニメ『怪獣8号』のエンディングテーマとして「Nobody (怪獣８号 ED テーマ)」を発表し、その後同シリーズの第2弾楽曲「Invincible (from 怪獣8号)」もリリース。これらのシングルに続き、6作目のアルバム「アーティフィシャル・パラダイス」を発表し、「ハート」「シンク・オア・スイム」などのヒット曲を収録。さらにデラックス版では、ジェリーロールとのコラボレーションや人気楽曲のアコースティック・バージョンが追加収録となった。
その後も、カイゴとの「Chasing Paradise」、IkkyとKaran Aujlaとの「Tell Me」、さらにThe Supermen Loversと共に代表曲「Starlight」の25周年を記念した新バージョン「Starlight (The Fame)」を発表。直近では、アニメ『怪獣8号』シーズン2のエンディングテーマとなる最新シングル「Beautiful Colors (from 怪獣8号)」を発表し、ミュージックビデオも公開となった。
ワンリパブリックは、今年9月から11月にかけてUKおよびヨーロッパでのツアーを行い、2026年2月にはオーストラリア公演が予定されている。
